8000KM - History in the making

We are very excited to share that as of today Andrew Cannon AM has crossed over the 8,000km mark! This is an absolutely incredible effort with a car that was made almost 100 years ago and is indeed the longest journey across Australia in a car of this vintage

Andrew's amazing fundraising efforts of $120,000 so far, will help the Foundation do some of the following :

• Provide 2,500 students with a Back to School backpack and stationery supplies for a student who has achieved 90%+ attendance or great improvement.

• Provide 2,000 students with a Literacy Pack containing 3 books for a student who has achieved 90%+ attendance or great improvement.

• Provide 500 hours of after school activities for students to help keep them fit, healthy and motivated to attend school.

• Provide the salary to train and employ an Indigenous mother to tutor and teach pre-school children to read.

We would like to thank Andrew for this wonderful effort and wish him all the best as he continues on his journey down the east coast of Australia. If you would like to show your support for this wonderful history-making drive, please click here
