My name is Dorothea Munkara, you can call me Dotty. I’m from Wurrumiyanga on the Tiwi Islands, my skin group is Miyatuwi (Pandanas). I have three kids; two boys and a girl. I like going hunting and swimming with my family. I’ve been working at the NUA take-away for 2 years and at the NUA supermarket before that. I am excited to be working with the Cathy Freeman Foundation and Wurrumiyanga students. I’m excited to give them awards and be a good role model for all Wurrumiyanga kids.
