Murrup

THE FUTURE IS FREEDOM

Murrup is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that strives for a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people can create the future of their dreams - whatever that looks like for them.

About

Murrup is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that partners with four remote communities to design and deliver place-based programs that support children and young people, and their families, through their early years, school journey and beyond.

We believe that First Nations young peoples have the right to self-determination. But, in order to create the future of their dreams, young people must have the freedom to choose; freedom from barriers; and freedom from racism.

Bright futures come from true freedom.

Our programs

Our place-based programs are co-designed so they meet the needs and aspirations of the communities we serve. And they are delivered by local staff who ensure cultural security and apply a local lens.
